Barber Poort Almere: from WIX to custom React
A WIX site holding the shop back
Barber Poort in Almere-Poort ran on a stock WIX website. It was built with drag-and-drop blocks, loaded slowly on mobile and gave the shop little grip on how the brand came across. Small edits, opening hours, a service, a price, took far more time than they should.
On top of that, the site lacked the fundamentals you need to be found locally in Almere: consistent NAP data (name, address, phone), structured data for Google and a technical setup that aligns with the Google Business Profile.
